Lindsay Lohan has a SCRAM bracelet again.

Lindsay Lohan may be out of jail for the time being, but she's not totally free from the law. The troubled starlet, who was allowed to post bail just hours after initially being denied that right (yes, it's confusing) is once again rocking a SCRAM bracelet on her ankle to track any potential alcohol intake.

The SCRAM -- short for Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring -- was seen on Lindsay's ankle as she lounged on a lawn at a homeless shelter over the weekend. Chances are Lindsay will have to wear it up until her October 22 probation violation hearing.

Lindsay Lohan's Porn-Biopic 'Inferno' Moves To Los Angeles To Accommodate Its Rehab-Headed Star

Though Lindsay Lohan was released from jailon Friday, there is little doubt that court complications will keep her in the Los Angeles area long past her release. Those geographical limitations have now affected Lohan's upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic "Inferno," with the production now moving from Louisiana to Los Angeles to accommodate the troubled star. Sources told TMZ that the decision was made because they "don't want to lose Lindsay for the part."

Director Matthew Wilder confirmed the move to MTV News on Friday. "We love her. We want her to do well," he said. "I think [it] will make things easier on the Lindsay front. I understand people's exasperation. I share it. But there is a tremendous gift underneath all the obvious baggage."

The move is said to have cost the film's producers a sizable amount of money, but according to TMZ'z source they were willing to spend it to keep Lohan as their lead. "We're staying [in Los Angeles] -- good for the movie, but also the best way to deal with travel restrictions or other hijinks," the source said.

The production is currently scouting locations in Los Angeles and filming is planned to resume as soon as January. This is still a delay from earlier this year, when the film was supposed to start shooting in November before Lohan's initial jail stint. If the starlet remains out of trouble for the next few months, it appears filming could get begin on schedule.

When promotional photos for "Inferno" were leaked in August, Wilder told MTV that he was impressed with Lohan's acting ability and passion for the project. Describing a scene they were taking photos of, he said, "We put her in a chair, and she went into this total volcanic meltdown and then just like a second later snapped out of it and walked away, walked back and was talking normally to everyone else. ... I've never seen anybody who could turn it off like that and turn it on so intensely and then kind of walk away."

Are you excited that "Inferno" finally is about to be made? Do you agree with the filmmakers' decision to move the filming locations to Los Angeles?

Lindsay Lohan Spends Sunday at a Homeless Shelter

After getting good news on Friday that sprung her from jail, Lindsay Lohan did a good deed on Sunday, visiting the Dream Center, a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.

Despite the brutally hot weather in L.A. over the weekend, Lohan, 24, arrived in a flannel shirt and long boots that covered up her alcohol-monitoring anklet. She spent the afternoon doing charity work at the center, and was joined by her mother Dina, sister Ali, manager Lou Taylor and friend Eilat Anschel.

Lohan later Tweeted: "What a great place The Dream Center is here in L.A. ... had a nice time there today, it's so important to give back. I feel blessed."

The actress was released just before midnight from a Lynwood, Calif., jail after spending less than 14 hours behind bars and posting $300,000 bail. She is accused of violating probation in a DUI case by failing a mandatory drug test.

She is also expected to return to rehab in the coming days. Her next court date is Oct. 22.

Lindsay Lohan "Giggles" about her addictions

Just hours after the media reported thatLindsay Lohan had tested positive for drugs, sources say the actress was to be found laughing about her relapse and enlisting her drunk pals to help her Tweet an ‘apology’ that made her sound serious.

Insiders told Us Weekly that the 24-year-old sipped Jack Daniels and Coke at Hollywood restaurant Magnolia, as she decided what to Tweet after testing positive for cocaine, with an eyewitness spilling, “Her friend would say, ‘No, use ‘setback,’ don’t say ‘mistake.’ They’ll say you make mistakes all the time!” about the Tweet which eventually read ‘This is certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions.’

And even the word ‘responsibility’ was suggested to the Mean Girls star, with the mole continuing, “[Her friend said] ‘It’s better to say you’re responsible. Denying it will just get everyone mad per usual.’”

Witnesses say Lindsay “giggled” as she sent the Tweet, before laughing with pals about her drinking, sarcastically saying she needed alcohol because she was “ill”.

And if you’ve ever wondered where she gets it form, step forward one derelict mum, Dina Lohan, who was overheard boasting that Lindsay would get out of jail super-fast, because “Our new [legal] team is like a machine. They’ll squash this.”

Nice work, Dina!

Lindsay Lohan's Biggest crime

lindsay-lohan-03-240-225x300 Lindsay Lohans Biggest Crime

Thank God for my anonymity.

That was my exact thought last night as I walked up to the bar in Disgraceland in Melbourne and ordered a shot of tequila with a beer chaser. I can drink as much as I want to, kiss whomever I please, go home solo or not, and the only likely negative consequence would be waking up with a killer hangover next to someone who looked a lot better in the dark.

If only Lindsay Lohan had it so good. Even before she donned her first alcohol-monitoring bracelet, her every sip and slip was being documented by the tabloids. For years now, she’s been the walking, stumbling disaster formerly known as a promising actress and singer. Every time she seems to hit rock bottom, she does something else that makes everyone wonder how much lower she can go.

Up to now, she’s been lucky. She only had to serve 14 days of a three-month sentence this past summer for skipping a DUI hearing. And Friday, after being ordered to remain in jail without bail pending her October 22 hearing for failing a drug test, she was freed on $300,000 bail after spending only 14 hours in the slammer, thanks to an appeal filed by her lawyer and a supervising judge who apparently was in a generous mood.

Something tells me that she’s not going to get off so easy on October 22. Some people will say she deserves what she gets, and I’d agree with them. But not for the obvious reason. Yes, Lohan probably should get acquainted with a beverage that’s weaker than vodka, and her trouble with the strong stuff is a huge part of why her career is on life support. But take away the fame and the rapidly diminishing fortune, and she’s not that different from a lot of people her age. God knows I’ve had my wild nights out, and I’ve seen people doing a lot worse than any of the Lohan misdeeds I’ve read about. It’s not the healthiest way to live, but if Lohan is on a downward spiral leading to an early grave, so is a large chunk of the general population.

Lohan was rightfully punished for her DUI incidents, but she doesn’t deserve to do time for wanting to party all the time. For that, she’s already suffered immensely. Her reputation is in tatters, and so is her career. At this point, I’d be surprised if either were able to rebound. When her personal travails have played out so publicly and embarrassingly, how are we supposed to see her onscreen and take her seriously as anyone other than the out-of-control party girl we’ve been reading about in the tabloids for the better part of a decade now?

Here’s why Lindsay Lohan must pay: A) for being stupid, B) for her blatant disregard of the law. If a judge tells you to clean up your act or else, that is the time to begin leading a spotless life. But not for Lohan. I’m not sure if it’s because she doesn’t believe she actually will end up in prison for any significant amount of time, or if she just physically can’t help herself, but for some reason, Lohan keeps repeating the same crime, consequences be damned.

When she continues to drink and use drugs after being threatened, jailed and fitted with an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, she’s basically saying, “F*** you!” to the California legal system. That’s asking for trouble. I suspect she’s about to get a whole lot more than she bargained for.

Lohan said now serious about rehab

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A source close toLindsay Lohan tells TMZ she is now serious about her recovery, though she relapsed weeks after checking out of a UCLA inpatient clinic.

"She will step up her treatment and do more than what she was previously ordered to do," the source told TMZ. The source said Lohan plans to voluntarily check herself back into rehab in the coming days.

Lohan, 24, was released from a Lynwood, Calif., jail late Friday night after winning an appeal to be granted bail following a failed drug test.

The actress has been ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and avoid places "where alcohol is the chief item of sale," TMZ said. She has a probation violation hearing Oct. 22 where she could face more jail time for failing a drug test in her drunk driving case.

Other sources close to Lohan told TMZ the actress knows during her next trip to rehab she'll be in for some "intense" treatment.

The sources and her family tell TMZ they were shocked Lindsay was put in jail for a few hours Friday. One close friend said Lindsay called the treatment "completely unfair."

Lindsay Lohan Seeks Trial Delay Due to 'Runny Nose!"

Claiming that she's picked up some kind of bug that causes her nose 'to run', wild child Lindsay Lohan is saying she can't show up for her Friday court appearance after testing positive twice for cocaine.

Close friends say the train wreck 'celebrity' was heartened earlier in the week when Paris Hilton skated for the 25th time for carrying illegal drugs when being detained by international and US law enforcement agents.

Despite credible reports that Hilton has been acting as a 'drug mule' for years secreting drugs up most of her body cavities, the judge once again let her off as her yacht and entourage were kept waiting interrupting her endless vacation.

Follywood watchers speculate this time Lohan won't be lucky, and may even be sentenced to two (2) 30 day stretches in the local pen, or once again be sent directly to rehab where it is rumoured that not only condoms but crack and marijuana are available in vending machines.

Just last week there were reports that Lohan was driving around in her BRAND NEW Maserati and brushed a nanny and her charge crossing in a pedestrian cross walk, a charge not verified despite the fact that some Gerber's creamed spinach was found on the car's right front fender.

Despite the set backs, Lindsay says she will continue to promote the legalization of drugs in California, and is now earning $27 per appearance at local medical marijuana clinics throughout the state of California in an effort to gather support to keep them open.

The future of her starring role as Linda Lovelace in the remake of 'Deep Throat' now in jeopardy, industry insiders say the scum-dog producers are scurrying around for a replacement 'who really, really, sucks!'

Latest contenders could be Kate Gosselin or OctoMom Nadya Suleman....or both, since the mothers of 22 combined say they no longer want sexual intercourse, but would swallow if it kept them in the public eye and off welfare, which they claim ' SUCKS BIG TIME!"

The flick, with a budget of $52,000 and to be shot in the swamps of Mississippi, would have paidLohan $3250 and a piece of the refreshment take in the 4 theaters where it was scheduled to open in Amsterdam, Times Square, Baltimore, and the Reeperbahn.

Bill Clinton has denied he sought a cameo role.

'Lindsay Does Drugs Because She’s Bored,' Source Says

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan’s problems weren't solved by two weeks in jail, or slightly longer than that in rehab.

By her own admission, she failed a court-ordered drug test last week.

"This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences," she tweeted on September 17.

But according to one friend, Lindsay is still in denial, and can’t control herself.

"Lindsay does drugs because she's bored,” a pal of the actress told FOX411.com exclusively. “The only reason she’s 'fessing up about her drug use on Twitter now is because she knows that she has 'friends' that will sell her out. People have seen her doing the drugs."

"Right now Lindsay is feeling really low -- really terrible,” the pal added. “She's like, "Wow, I got set up again.'"And even though Lohan, 24, made the decision to use drugs after her release from rehab, she still blames others.

According to the insider, the actress originally had good intentions. "When she first got out of rehab, she took it seriously. She didn't want to do drugs or get back into that lifestyle," the pal said. "But then, she had all these people around her who were doing drugs in front of her, and that's when she slipped.

"A few weeks ago, I saw Lindsay out, and she was in a weird state of mind. It was terrible. She wasn't her fresh self like when she first got out of rehab. It was like she didn't care anymore.”

But former bodyguard Lee Weaver still holds out hope for the wayward actress.

"Lindsay's a strong girl,” Weaver, who is currently writing a book about his experiences in Hollywood, told FOX411.com. “She will come back -- she just needs to surround herself with good people."

Lindsay's rep did not respond for comment.

Lohan Settles $100 Million "Milkaholic" Suit

092110milkaholic.jpgIt's been a mixed week for Lindsay Lohan. Though there's a warrant out for her arrest after she failed two drug tests, one for amphetamines and the other for cocaine, she settled her $100 million suit against E-Trade. Lohan claimed the company insulted her when a baby named Lindsay was called a "milkaholic" in one of their commercials. Because if an addict of any sort is named Lindsay, it's obviously Lindsay Lohan.

Lohan had a bit more of a case after Esquire magazine discovered the milk-chugging child's name had been changed from Deborah to Lindsay. An E-Trade rep told the Post the settlement "was a business decision to move on" (incidentally, the terms were not disclosed). Now, Lohan can focus on the combined 60 days in jail she faces for failing the two drug tests.

Lohan wrote on Twitter yesterday, "This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences." Her mother, Dina, also said, "Addiction is difficult." Lohan will appear in court on Friday to determine whether the will return to jail and face all of that discrimination and torture.
