A source told Radar Online that negotiations have begun for the Machete star to open up about her time in jail to Winfrey during the final season of Oprah.
"Things are heating up in a good way," the source said. "Definitely some good conversations. We're crossing our fingers it works out for Oprah's last season."
Though no deal has been reached at this time, the likelihood of Lohan appearing on Oprah is "very good", according to the source.
A spokesperson for the actress stated that "nothing has been planned" but did not deny that negotiations between the two parties are underway.
Lohan has not spoken to any media outlets since she served 23 days in jail and 22 days in a court-mandated rehab centre for a parole violation stemming from a 2007 drink driving arrest.
