Old habits die hard: Lindsay Lohan spotted at NYC club after filming sobriety-endorsing VMA skit

Well, that didn't take long.

Just one day after Lindsay Lohan filmed her sobriety-endorsing VMA guest spot with Chelsea Handler, the party-prone star was seen back in the NYC nightlife, according to UsMagazine.com.

Fresh out of rehab, Lohan, 24, was reportedly spotted hanging out at New York hotspot Boom Boom Room until the early hours of the night of September 11.

"She's telling everyone she didn't go out," a source told the mag about the actress. "We're like, 'Lindsay, people saw you there!'"

A witness at the club commented, "It looked like she didn't want to be noticed."

Lohan seems to be reverting back to her old partying ways despite just having been released from her court-ordered post-jail treatment at UCLA's Neurophysciatric Hospital on August 24. The actress completed 22 days of rehab, following a 14-day stint behind bars for violating probation in her back-to-back 2007 DUI cases.

"It's the same old cycle of lying and denials," an insider told Us of the "Machete" star, who has been in and out of rehab four times.

Friends of Lohan seem concerned that despite all the rehabilitation and controversy, she has not broken the vicious cycle.

"Everything that she went through seems not to have changed her a bit," the pal said. "It's sad."
