After 23 days of treatment, actress Lindsay Lohan was released from rehab, according to a report of TMZ.
Initially, Lohan was sentenced to a 90-day jail term for violating her probation on a drunk-driving and cocaine-possession charge in 2007. After 13 days in jail, she was taken to UCLA Medical Center to begin rehab treatment. This was because of her good behavior in jail.
Now, Lohan is receiving outpatient care.
In an AP report, the next step after her release from the rehab is yet to be discussed in court with a prosecutor and Lohan's lawyer. Los Angeles county district attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison said the next decision will depend on what the doctors evaluating Lohan will say.
Lohan is said to join her mother in New York after her release.
